NANI

I always think of hot warm places when I see frangipani flowers. They are so beautiful. This frangipani was spotted on a morning walk along Noosa River. A walk is never just a walk, when you are also a painter!! Prior to COVID our entire family would holiday together in the July school holidays. I always noticed there were not many flowers blooming in Noosa when we have been there. I often wondered why; the climate was very warm, it didn’t really make sense. This frangipani is called “Nani” and Nani is a Hawaiian word that means “beauty or glory”. Perfect don’t you think?
